High End Gaming PCs

Our high end gaming PCs are built for 4K, hand built and tested here in the UK, and covered by a 3 year warranty as standard with up to 5 years available. Most are built to order in 6 to 8 working days, with express builds available in 3 to 5.

This is the top of what we make, and the difference is in the processor. Around half of these builds run AMD X3D chips, where the extra cache does its work in games rather than in benchmark scores, paired with RTX 5070 Ti, 5080 or 5090 graphics.

What makes a gaming PC high end

A high end gaming PC is one built to hold a high frame rate at 4K rather than one that reaches it occasionally. Every system in this range is badged BUILT FOR 4K, runs 32GB or 64GB of DDR5 memory, and pairs a current generation processor with an RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, RTX 5090 or Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card.

All of them are hand built and tested here in the UK, and all come with a 3 year warranty as standard, with cover up to 5 years available.

Why choose a Fierce PC high end gaming PC

  • Hand built and tested in the UK by our own system engineers
  • Stress tested before dispatch, not just assembled and boxed
  • 3 year warranty as standard, with up to 5 years available on our warranty page
  • Cheaper than buying the same parts separately
  • Upgrade paths designed in, so the case, board and power supply take the next generation of parts

What to consider when buying a high end gaming PC

At this level the choice is less about whether a system is fast enough and more about where you want the money to go. These are the components that decide it.

The processor

At this level the processor stops being the part you compromise on, and it is the clearest difference between one high end build and another.

Several systems here use AMD X3D chips, which carry a much larger block of cache and raise frame rates in games specifically rather than across the board. Our guide to X3D processors explained covers how that works and when it is the right trade.

The Intel systems here run Core Ultra processors, which put more of their strength into high core count work such as rendering, encoding and streaming alongside a game. Both are current generation. Which one suits depends on what you do with the machine when you are not playing.

Browse our AMD gaming PCs or Intel gaming PCs to compare across the whole range.

The graphics card

The graphics card sets the resolution and frame rate ceiling. At 4K it does most of the work, which is why every system in this range carries an RTX 5070 Ti, Radeon RX 9070 XT or better.

The RTX 5070 Ti handles 4K in most current titles with upscaling enabled. The RTX 5080 raises frame rates and gives more room for ray tracing at native resolution. The RTX 5090 is for 4K at high refresh, heavy ray tracing, and creative work that uses the extra memory.

Our guide comparing the RTX 5070, 5070 Ti and 5080 goes through where each one stops being worth the money. See also our NVIDIA gaming PCs and AMD Radeon gaming PCs.

Memory

Every system in this range ships with at least 32GB of DDR5, and several carry 64GB. 32GB is enough for any current game with room to stream or keep a browser open alongside. 64GB is worth having if you edit video, run virtual machines, or work with large project files on the same machine you play on.

Storage

These systems use Gen4 NVMe drives at 2TB or 4TB. A modern game install can run past 150GB, so capacity matters more here than it used to. Gen4 NVMe also cuts level load times and reduces the stutter you get when a game streams textures in mid-scene.

Cooling and power

A high end processor and graphics card together produce a lot of heat, and a system that cannot move it away will quietly reduce its own speed to stay safe. That is why cooling is specified alongside the components rather than after them, and why the case, fan layout and power supply matter as much as the parts they surround.

Power supply sizing is the part most people guess at, and our guide to what power supply wattage you need sets out the headroom these cards actually want.

Our Corsair gaming PCs use iCUE Link cooling and lighting, which puts the fans, pump and lighting on a single control system.

The right extras

A 4K system is held back by a 1080p screen. If you are buying at this level, the peripherals are part of the decision: high refresh rate monitors, chosen with our monitor guide if you are not sure what pairs with a 4K system, keyboards, mice and headsets.

What the extra money buys

The range spans a wide spread, and it is worth being clear about what changes as you move up it.

At the lower end you are getting a system that plays current titles at 4K with upscaling, on an RTX 5070 Ti with 32GB of memory. That is a genuine 4K machine and for most people it is the sensible stopping point.

The middle of the range moves you to an RTX 5080. The gain is frame rate headroom at native 4K and more comfortable ray tracing, rather than access to anything the tier below cannot run.

At the top, an RTX 5090 with 64GB of memory and 4TB of storage is aimed at 4K at high refresh, multi monitor setups, and machines doing creative work as well as gaming. The step up in price is steeper than the step up in frame rate, which is the honest way to put it. It buys headroom and longevity rather than access, and our guide on how long a gaming PC should last is the one to read if that is what you are paying for.

If the whole range is above what you want to spend, our gaming PCs under £2,000 cover high refresh 1440p and entry level 4K.

Built and tested here, not assembled abroad

Every system is built to order in our facility on the Wirral, then stress tested for thermal stability and performance consistency before it is boxed. Nothing ships on the assumption that it works.

We buy components from manufacturers we can stand behind and hold stock of, which is what makes a 3 year warranty and up to 5 years of cover practical to offer.

If you want to specify a machine yourself rather than start from one of ours, our PC configurator lets you set every component. If something does go wrong later, our support team is here.

Build and delivery times

  • Standard built to order systems are built, tested and dispatched in 6 to 8 working days
  • Express systems are built and dispatched in 3 to 5 working days
  • Free UK delivery on qualifying orders

If you need a machine sooner than that, our next day gaming PCs ship from stock.

High end gaming PC FAQs

What counts as a high end gaming PC?

A system built to hold a high frame rate at 4K rather than 1080p or 1440p. In practice that means an RTX 5070 Ti, Radeon RX 9070 XT or better, a current generation processor, and at least 32GB of memory. Every system on this page meets that.

How much does a high end gaming PC cost?

More than the rest of the range, and the graphics card decides most of it. The lower end of this page is a 4K system on an RTX 5070 Ti or a Radeon RX 9070 XT. The upper end is an RTX 5090 with 64GB of memory and 4TB of storage, aimed at 4K at high refresh and creative work alongside gaming. Current prices are on each system above.

Are high end gaming PCs worth it?

If you play at 4K, or at high refresh rates, or you stream or create on the same machine, yes. If you play at 1080p or 1440p on a 60Hz or 144Hz screen, you will not see most of what you are paying for, and our lower ranges will serve you better.

What is an X3D processor and do I need one?

X3D processors carry a much larger cache, which raises frame rates in games specifically. If the machine is mainly for playing, X3D is usually the better buy. If you render, encode or stream heavily, an Intel Core Ultra processor may suit you better.

Can I customise my high end gaming PC?

Yes. Our PC configurator lets you choose processor, graphics card, cooling, memory, storage and case, and our engineers build it.

Are these systems pre-built?

Most are built to order so the configuration is yours rather than a stock specification. Where a system is available from stock, it is listed under next day gaming PCs.

How long will it take to receive my PC?

Standard built to order systems are dispatched in 6 to 8 working days. Express systems are dispatched in 3 to 5 working days.
