What is in this range
Every machine here runs an AMD Ryzen processor. What sits alongside it varies: some are paired with a Radeon graphics card, others with an NVIDIA one, and the entry builds use the graphics built into the processor itself. Getting to know Ryzen processors
Ryzen is split into tiers, and the number tells you roughly where a chip sits rather than how new it is.

What do the letters mean?

| X3D | Carries AMD's 3D V-Cache, a much larger block of cache that raises frame rates in games specifically. Our guide to X3D explained covers when that trade is the right one. |
| X | Higher clock speeds and power limits than the base model. |
| G | Integrated Radeon graphics built into the processor, so no separate card is needed. |
| F | No integrated graphics, so a dedicated card is required. |
AM4 and AM5: the part people miss
Ryzen chips sit on two sockets and both appear in this range. AM4 is the older platform, pairs with DDR4 memory, and is where the better value sits at the lower end. AM5 is current, takes DDR5, and is the one with an upgrade path still ahead of it.

Radeon graphics
The all-AMD builds pair a Ryzen with a Radeon card. Those support FSR upscaling for extra frames, Adrenalin software for tuning and monitoring, and Infinity Cache, which helps most at higher resolutions. The current generation sits in our Radeon RX 9000 series gaming PCs.
