Your order is underway... so what happens next?
When you place an order with Fierce PC, you can rest assured that you will be receiving a high quality system that has been through rigorous testing. What happens next depends upon what you have ordered.
I ordered a next day system
I ordered a next day system
Our next day systems are typically in stock and ready to dispatch, so, as long as we received your order by 2pm, your new system should be dispatched before the end of the following working day. If you ordered by 2pm (On a Monday, for example), your system would be dispatched on Tuesday and with you by Wednesday. If you order by 2pm on a Friday, your system will be with you before the end of the day, the following Tuesday.
If for any reason there is a delay to your Next Day delivery, our customer service team will be in touch to keep you informed.
I ordered an express system
We aim to dispatch express systems within 3-5 working days. When we dispatch an item, it is sent as next working day delivery. Your system will still go through the same rigorous testing stages as if you placed a normal order - we work quickly but we don't cut any corners!
I ordered standard delivery
We aim to build, test and dispatch all systems within 7-10 working days. This estimated dispatch is an estimate, which can change without notice. If for any reason your order is going to take longer than usual, our customer service team will endeavour to inform you at the earliest possible convenience - and please rest assured, if we do sometimes need a little more time, its because we want your system to be perfect. Please also note that we work to working day estimates, so not including weekends, and our dispatch estimate is not your delivery date. We dispatch on next working day delivery, so if your system is dispatched on the 10th working day, it will arrive with you on the 11th working day.
What is happening in those 7-10 days?
Building your PC is our passion, and our process.
Once your order is placed, it is in safe hands and will go through several stages before it arrives with you, ready to take your gaming to the next level. The various stages your system may go through include;
Awaiting stock: Unless it's a next day system, we build each PC to order. In rare occasions, we may need to wait for stock to arrive before we can start your build, but the majority of the time we can get all components by the next day.
In picking: Our warehouse team have got your wishlist of parts and they are busy grabbing everything off the shelves to hand-over to our expert builders.
Picked: All your parts are sat next to a builders bench, ready for the builder to get started as soon as they can.
In building: It's happening! Our expert team are busy putting your dream system together. We've been building custom PC systems for over 30 years, so you know yours is in great hands!
In testing: Making sure your system works as expected when it arrives with you is our number one priority, which is why we put all our systems through rigorous testing before we send them out of the door. It takes time, but we think it's the most important step.
In packing: We'd hate to have gone through all this just for your system to arrive with you, damaged in transit, which is why our packing team take extra time to fill your chassis with inflatable bags to prevent any movement during dispatch (make sure to remove this when your PC arrives!). Your PC will be padded and carefully packed, ready to hand over to the driver.
Awaiting collection: Getting close now! Your PC is built, tested and packed and now we just need the courier to come and collect it.
Dispatched: Your new gaming PC is on its way to you and should be delivered by the next working day. Clear a space on your gaming desk, dust off your keyboard and mouse and remember to remove the internal packaging when your system arrives! You'd be surprised how many people turn their new system on with the packing material still inside.
