The world is currently in unprecedented times, and as a result, we are doing the best we can to help fight the battle against COVID-19. As we're solely an online business, and therefore do not come into contact with the public, we have not been instructed to stop trading by the Government. The Government has said, "Online retail is still open and encouraged and postal and delivery service will run as normal." Due to this, if we were to stop trading now we would not be eligible for the 80% salary support the Government is offering to all businesses that have been affected. You can find the full list of businesses that have been instructed to close by the Government online here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/full-guidance-on-staying-at-home-and-away-from-others/full-guidance-on-staying-at-home-and-away-from-others#staying-at-home To clarify, retail is brick and mortar businesses and not online. Safety in our warehouse is the number one priority; some staff are self-isolating due to being in a high-risk group, and we have changed some of our processes to ensure everyone is at least two meters apart where possible. This slows down the speed at which we can work, but it keeps our team safe and allows us to keep building PCs! We will be monitoring all staff carefully and anyone who shows signs of illness will be sent home immediately. All office staff are currently working from home where possible to reduce the spread of the virus. On top of this, we've been told there are some delays with our couriers due to a high volume of parcels. Despite all the above, we are working to get your orders out as quickly as possible. We appreciate your understanding during this unprecedented situation, and ask that you only contact us if your order is over a week late. If you do need to contact us, please raise a ticket here rather than calling - most of our office staff are working from home and so we don't have the full phone capabilities we usually would have. Even though everybody jokes about gamers being prepared for a situation like this, now is the time to share your knowledge. To stay entertained whilst self-isolating you can introduce people to the world of gaming. To help people stay connected you can share your technological know-how with friends and family on how to set up video calling. We would like to also take this opportunity to thank everyone in the NHS, supermarket staff, delivery drivers, as well as all others around the world who are working tirelessly to stay on top of this pandemic. We appreciate everything you’re doing. If there are any further updates on this situation then we will update you accordingly. Please make sure you follow the guidance on staying at home by the UK government: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/full-guidance-on-staying-at-home-and-away-from-others/full-guidance-on-staying-at-home-and-away-from-others#staying-at-home
