The Witcher Wild Hunt is all about Geralt of Rivia and based on a series of fantasy novels.
The gaming series started with The Witcher back in 2009 however it was suspended as there were payment problems with the console developers (Widescreen Games). This game was followed by The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings which came out in 2011 and 4 years later here is The Witcher Wild Hunt 3.
It all started off with Geralt starting his adventure in the citadel of Kaer Morhen where bandits attack led by two shady characters, the Professor and a mysterious mage.
Previously the first Witcher game including the prologue and epilogue had 7 different chapters to it. The second Witcher game had 5 and after the intriguing plot of The Witcher 2, the third game will follow on from that epilogue where Geralt heads off to Nilfgaard with Triss and either Lorveth or Roche.
With many exciting different chapters it’s easy to see why this game is highly anticipated. It is expected to be the best in the series so far with better graphics.
As you can tell from previous games you can expect a great storyline. You’ll probably know that this game should have been released late last year (2014) and has been delayed twice with the second release day being in February 2015, giving us an extra long wait, but with good reason as the developers wanted to make this game ‘one of the best RPGs you will ever play’. But now the wait is over!
