Warehouse Operative

Temporary (until January 31st, 2019), Full-Time

Here at Fierce PC we build and sell computers, mainly Gaming PCs. If you’re an experienced Warehouse Operative and enjoy gaming or computer hardware, this is the job for you.

Main Responsibilities

  • Picking/Packing
  • Dispatching orders
  • Receiving deliveries, including unloading goods from couriers, checking correct items have been delivered and signing for accordingly
  • Using a pallet truck to offload and arrange deliveries
  • Booking in and scanning out stock on our internal system
  • Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met
  • Establish daily and weekly routines to ensure a clean, tidy warehouse at all times and that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong Team working and collaboration skills
  • Track record of working in a similar pick and pack environment
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good ability to manage own workload
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • PC skills with the ability to input data accurately
  • Experience of manual handling of goods
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy
  • Polite and presentable with good communication skills

PC Systems Builder Assembly Operative

Here at Fierce PC we build and sell computers, mainly Gaming PCs. Whether you're interested in computers, PC hardware, you've tinkered with PCs in the past, been the family go to for PC issues or you're experienced in building computers, this is the job for you.

Purpose

To build PC Systems to the standard expected by the company whilst keeping to production targets and assisting in the general day to day operating of the business as required. This may involve some Warehouse work at busier times.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build PC Systems, including Overclocking if required, to the standard expected by the company and by agreed timescales - on-site training will be given
  • Test PC Systems on completion to ensure that the customer will always receive a fully working product
  • Keep accurate records of all PC Systems produced
  • Achieve all targets set by your Line Managers
  • Test customer returns, identify hardware faults and carry out remedial work
  • Keep accurate and up to date records of customer returns throughout the returns process
  • Carry out any other duties, within reason, as required by your Line Managers
  • Conduct yourself in a manner according to that expected by the company
  • Report any issues to the management immediately
  • Assist in the training of new staff as required
  • Attend daily company meetings as required
  • Be part of the weekly cleaning rota

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Technical / product knowledge would be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good level of computer literacy including knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office
  • Enthusiastic with a positive Can Do attitude
  • Overclocking experience would be an advantage

PC Repair Technician

Purpose

To diagnose and repair customer PC returns to the standard expected by the company whilst keeping to targets and assisting in the general day to day operating of the business as required.

Main Responsibilities

  • Test customer returns, identify hardware faults and carry out remedial work
  • Keep accurate and up to date records of customer returns throughout the returns process
  • Liase with Customer Care to prioritise and keep customers updated
  • Achieve all targets set by your Line Managers
  • Carry out any other duties, within reason, as required by your Line Managers
  • Conduct yourself in a manner according to that expected by the company
  • Report any issues to the management immediately
  • Assist in the training of new staff as required
  • Attend daily company meetings as required
  • Be part of the weekly cleaning rota

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
  • Relevant certifications will be an advantage

IT Help Desk Customer Care Technical Support Representative

Fierce PC is a computer manufacturer, specialising in Gaming PCs. We have appeared at various gaming festivals, such as Insomnia and EGX.

If you're a confident person, a gamer or into PC hardware this could be the perfect job for you.

A great telephone manner, an excellent command of the English language and good writing skills are all key requirements.

An understanding of PC Hardware/Software will be an advantage, otherwise training can be provided.

We are a focused but friendly team. If you like to be social you may like to join in with our monthly team events (organised by staff).

We are also interested in foreign language speakers. Languages that would be useful are French, German, Italian and Danish. This is not a requirement of the position but would be an advantage. You must be fluent in English.

Purpose

Managing and prioritising customer enquiries, both general and technical. Either resolving remotely, or booking PCs for return and managing the repair process.

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing and prioritising customer enquiries, both general and technical
  • Answering the phones
  • To provide excellent customer service, ensuring all contacts are handled in a pleasant, helpful and professional manner, with regular updates provided to the customer
  • Manning the website chat – real-time contact with customers
  • Register and manage communication with customers regarding returns
  • Invoicing customers for orders
  • Updating and managing your computerised task list
  • Resolving issues and information requests, using FAQ answers provided, where possible
  • Providing customers with regular updates on the status of their issues, and receiving responses to questions
  • Tracking the progress of issues referred to specialists within the company and its suppliers
  • Keep up to date with the business and its products
  • Maintaining the list of frequently asked questions and answers, to enable you to provide the best support to your customers
  • Providing administration and support to other departments

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
