PC Systems Builder Assembly Operative

Haslingden BB4
£9.74 an hour - Full-time, Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our warehouse operation and the company requires two PC systems builders. The role includes PC System builds to the high standards expected by the company whilst keeping to production targets and assisting in the general day to day operating of the business as required. This may involve some other duties at busier times.

Duties & Responsibilities may include:

  • Build PC Systems to the high standard expected by the company and within agreed timescales - on-site training will be given
  • Use the handheld scanners to accurately record your progress
  • Achieve all targets set by your Line Manager
  • Accept and process supplier deliveries making sure to check for damages and sign for accordingly to limit company exposure
  • Ensure the stock room is kept in a tidy and orderly manner
  • Carry out stock checks as required
  • Pick and package all sold items in accordance with instructions and at a rate that is deemed acceptable by your line manager
  • Use various systems to print courier labels for all sold items
  • Check customer addresses for errors, report them to your Line Manager and await further instruction before sending the product
  • Conduct yourself in a manner according to that expected by the company
  • Report any issues to the management immediately
  • Assist in the training of new staff as required
  • Attend daily company meetings as required
  • Promote company Health & Safety at all times


Skills Required

  • Technical / product knowledge would be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good level of computer literacy including knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office
  • Enthusiastic with a positive attitude

Hours: Shifts of 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm including some weekends during busy periods.

Start Date: Immediately; dependant on trial. This role is intended to be temporary on an on-going basis with a view to becoming permanent.

Sales and Purchasing Administrator

Full-time, Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our accounts department for an experienced Sales and Purchasing Administrator to join the team. The right person will have a keen eye for detail, be organised and able to work to deadlines. You will be part of a team of 6 and will report directly to the Management Accountant.

Duties & Responsibilities may include:

Processing orders from all selling platforms

  • Processing orders from all selling platforms
  • Generating/printing pick sheet orders for production/warehouse
  • Monitor the status of any customer finance related applications
  • Liaise with the customer care team on any customer related queries
  • Complete and maintain sales invoices and reports
  • Match purchase orders with invoices
  • Set up new customers/ suppliers on accounting software
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • UK and foreign VAT return preparation
  • Assist with any month-end reporting as required
  • Carry out all ad hoc administrative tasks on a daily basis
  • Promote company Health & Safety at all times


Skills & Qualifications Required

  • Previous experience working in an administrative role is essential
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word Access)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • QuickBooks experience is desirable
  • Proactive individual focused on system and reporting improvements
  • Excellent attention to detail and well organised
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a similar role

Hours: Monday to Friday. Weekend overtime may be required

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year depending on experience
